Q. What is the minimum period I can hire a portable kitchen for?
A. Generally we hire for a minimum period of 1 month (30 consecutive days), however we do shorter term hires, please contact us for a quotation to suit your requirements. 


Q. How far in advance do I need to book one of your kitchens?
A. We recommend getting in touch with us as soon as possible to check availability or to place a tentative hold for your requirements. Our kitchens can get heavily booked quite far in advance, so is best to contact us sooner rather than later to discuss your requirements to avoid disappointment or having to readjust your schedule.


Q. What can your mobile commercial kitchens be used for?
A. Our kitchens can be used for a number of applications, such as during kitchen renovations, special events and disaster relief, and the versatile design allows them to be used for a number of styles of food service.


Q. What situations have your kitchens been used in?
A. Our kitchens are very versatile, and have been used in many applications, including Retirement Homes, Hotels, Pubs, Hospitals, Mining Camps, Film Productions, and music events such as Splendor in the Grass & the Byron Bay Blues Festival.


Q. Can your kitchens be moved easily?
A. Yes, our truck mounted kitchens can be easily moved by driving them to the specific location. Our shipping container kitchens are easy to move by truck, train or ship, but need the assistance of a flat bed truck, and in some instances cranes to move them around and position.

Q. What is the cost of hiring a mobile portable kitchen?
A. The cost depends on the length of hire, but can be as little as $195* per day.

Q. What equipment is in included in the mobile kitchens?
A. Our equipment includes pass through dishwasher, walk in cold room, twin basket deep fryer, 8 burner fan forced oven or combi steamer oven, 300mm flat grill plate, air conditioning and exhaust canopy.


Q. Are your mobile kitchens easy to work from?
A. Yes, they have been designed by chefs with many years experience in mobile food service, and are very practical.


Q. What power requirements do your mobile kitchens need?
A. Our kitchens use 3 phase, 5pin, 32 amp per phase power + 1 or 2 15 amp power outlets.


Q. What water requirements do your kitchens need?
A. Generally a garden tap with portable water is enough to service our kitchens.
